US youngsters learn how to use coding & hacking skills

20 young people, including 10 American youngsters from Albuquerque and the Navajo Nation in New Mexico, will be welcomed in The Hague by Cybersprint on 21 March 2019. The young coding talents will learn how to use their coding and hacking skills in a positive way and to make the digital world safer. They will also see real life examples of how they could use these skills to increase their career opportunities. The programme is part of the CyberHeroes-week which is set up by Cyberworkplace in Rotterdam and the American Embassy in The Hague.

30 master students visited the HSD campus as part of the ‘Entrepreneurial Skills Course’. Cybersprint set three of the students a business challenge to solve.

Cybersprint takes part in the ‘Entrepreneurial Skills Course’. 30 master students visited the HSD campus on 7 March 2019, marking the start of a seven-week long programme. The goal is to give the students experience and a real business case in an IT organisation. Cybersprint is one of the 10 HSD partners that has set the students a challenge and will support them through the process of solving it.

Study leads to national investigation cyber security HEALTHCARE

The Minister of Health has issued an investigation to determine whether all Dutch healthcare organisations should be aligned to Z-CERT.

The Dutch Minister of Health, Bruno Bruins, has issued an investigation to determine whether all hospitals and healthcare organisations in the Netherlands should be aligned to Z-CERT, the Computer Emergency Response Team for all healthcare Institutions in the Netherlands. The inducement for the investigation is Cybersprint’s report on the cyber security of Dutch hospitals, published in the Elsevier Weekblad on 9 February 2019.
