As of 1 October 2020, we welcome Richard Betts as VP International Financial Services and UKI at Cybersprint. Richard will focus on creating and expanding Cybersprint’s international and financial portfolio.
Richard has over 25 years of experience in IT Security and Operations. He was formerly the EMEA CTO at Bigfix and held senior leadership roles at both HP and IBM. Richard has been instrumental in building and developing startup cyber-businesses globally, including Tanium and Moka5.
Over the past five years, Richard focussed on the Threat Intelligence space as a trusted advisor to some of the largest global financial services organisations and managed security service providers. Most recently, Richard developed the Global Financial Services Market for Anomali, building communities and helping to orchestrate several major CTI collaborations initiatives in the UK, Middle East and Africa with central banks and banking federations/organisations.
Richard: “I'm incredibly excited to have joined Cybersprint today, and even better to have joined on their fifth anniversary. Many organisations have been forced by COVID to accelerate their digital transformation fundamentally. That, in turn, has exponentially expanded their attack surface and make them increasingly vulnerable to threat actors targeting their brand. The Cybersprint platform enables organisations to move to a proactive defence of their digital assets and brands. I genuinely believe Cybersprint’s unique automated approach allows CISOs to understand and mitigate the security risks associated with accelerated digital transformation programs.”
Pieter Jansen, CEO Cybersprint: “We are happy to have Richard on board. He has extensive experience in working with financial services focussing on the Threat Intelligence space. Richard will help our company grow even further and faster in the UK and on an international level by setting up relevant partnerships and through attracting new customers together with the team.”
