Cybersprint winner of "Web Security Solution Provider of 2019" Award

by Cybersprint News, Award 2 Oct 2019

The Hague, Oct. 2, 2019 – CyberSecurity Breakthrough, a leading independent market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global information security market, today announced that Cybersprint, the European leader in Digital Risk Protection (DRP), has been named the winner of the “Overall Web Security Solution Provider of the Year” award.

Cybersprint has developed a unique Digital Risk Protection (DRP) SaaS platform that automatically maps, monitors and manages online risks to an organization over a broad range of digital channels. The DRP platform works with the same techniques hackers use in search of online vulnerabilities, only Cybersprint automates them and combines them with a large variety of approaches, sources and applications. This enables organizations to monitor and detect digital risks interfering with their online security in real-time.

“Online activities of organizations are increasing exponentially and are constantly changing and we are committed to empowering our clients to control their online footprint and prevent attacks by timely identifying online vulnerabilities,” said Pieter Jansen, Founder & CEO, Cybersprint. “This 2019 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award is a fantastic validation of our efforts in this commitment and we are extremely proud to receive this award.”

The mission of the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards is to honor excellence and recognize the innovation, hard work and success in a range of information security categories, including Cloud Security, Threat Detection, Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, Mobile Security, Email Security and many more. This year’s program attracted more than 3,500 nominations from over 15 different countries throughout the world.

“With Cybersprint digital vulnerabilities can quickly be found and resolved, and by providing continuous, real-time and actionable insights into digital risks, organizations have a significant jumpstart in combatting cyber threats.” said James Johnson, managing director, CyberSecurity Breakthrough. “By making the invisible vulnerabilities visible and initiating actions to remedy them, Cybersprint contributes a “breakthrough” cyber security innovation that is worthy of a 2019 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award designation.”

Cybersprint’s automated platform continuously scans multiple sources and channels, such as the Web, Social Media, Mobile Apps and even the Deep Web. After entering the brand or organization name, the platform is able to reveal the digital attack surface with all online entry points related to the brand and the associated digital risks. By combining all this data and using AI, Big Data, and data visualizations, the platform can provide clear insights into the unknown or invisible digital risks. Contextual information, including advice on remedial actions, allows for the quick resolution of a risk.

In addition, the advanced visualizations in the platform also provide clear insights into the relationships between the footprint of an organization and that of third party suppliers, which helps management, procurement, security, and vendor strategies. The platform’s modular approach relates to a specific digital channel and combined have distinctive competences to timely detect cyber threats like phishing websites, fake social media accounts, CEO-fraud, data leaks and online brand abuse. This helps to remediate them before malicious actors can exploit them.

Cybersprint's dedicated team of top hackers works on the customer-driven development of their extensive cyber security solutions. Cybersprint was founded in 2015 by Pieter Jansen and is an active member of the leading European security cluster, The Hague Security Delta.
