Cybersprint raises € 2M to further fuel its rapid growth

Dutch cyber security company Cybersprint has raised € 2M in a Series A Funding round. The financing is provided by lead-investor Vortex Capital Partners, returning investor InnovationQuarter, and KPN Ventures. Cybersprint will invest the funds to keep developing its product portfolio and team, and continue its expansion throughout Europe.

The municipality of The Hague passed digital test by 45 hackers

No less than 45 ethical hackers have put the ICT-systems of the municipality of The Hague to the test in today’s hacking competition. Next to a part of their own infrastructure, digital environments of the city’s suppliers were included in the scope as well. The hackers real-life tested the environments in search of any vulnerabilities in the competition named ‘Hâck Den Haag’; a cooperation between the municipality and the cyber security organisation Cybersprint.

Cybersprint visits Smart City Expo World Congress 2018 Barcelona

From 13 to 15 November, Cybersprint participates in the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona and the Dutch trade mission aligned with this event. Together with the municipality of The Hague, Cybersprint will present the Smart City Cyber Resilience Monitoring platform. Within this platform we continuously detect digital threats in Smart City infrastructures, as a result of connecting technical innovations to the internet.

Cybersprint’s German experiences during it-sa and trade mission

From 9 to 11 October, Cybersprint participated in the it-sa 2018, Europe’s leading trade fair for IT security. Along with the three-day event, CEO Pieter Jansen accompanied the Dutch king and queen in the German trade mission to Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. The goal was to make a serious market entry in Germany. The many activities during the it-sa and the German trade mission gave the team of Cybersprint the possibility to present themselves well, which resulted in a broadened German network and a promising entrance in the German market for Cybersprint.

Participating exhibition it-sa and trade mission in Germany

From 9-11 October 2018, Cybersprint will be present at the it-sa, Europe’s leading trade fair for IT security. At our Cybersprint stand, we will offer interested visitors a free 1-to-1 Quickscan of their organisation and a demo of our Digital Risk Monitoring platform. You can find our stand at the expo in Hall 10.0 / 10.0-423 in the Holland IT Secuity House. Moreover, our CISO Cynthia Schouten will give two presentations on the importance of knowing your organisation’s digital footprint.
