We have planned an exciting programme for Hâck The Hague that will air on 27 September. Expect fun podcasts and videos about cybersecurity in all shapes and sizes. We tested citizens of The Hague on their knowledge of cybersecurity and held exclusive interviews with both professional and student hackers. What will they share? Here's a sneak peak.
We are thrilled to reveal a few of the items you can expect during Hâck The Hague 2021. View the full programme here.
// Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences podcast about how they guide students towards the ethical hacking path;
// Hague Security Delta podcast with Mark Ruijsendaal on how to start a career in cybersecurity;
// Cyberworkplace podcast with Tsvetelina Shabanska about women in IT;
// A Zerocopter podcast in which Edwin van Andel shares valuable tips for hackers participating in Hâck The Hague;
// In a video with Pieter Jansen we discuss deep fakes and what people can do to up their cybersecurity.
But that's not all! The municipality of The Hague also explained their use of scan-vehicles around the city, which they use to check if proper parking tickets were purchased.
In a Europol podcast with Philipp Amann, he introduced us to a great initiative called No More Ransom. This joint initiative with the Dutch Police aims to help individuals and organisations retrieve their encrypted data without having to pay the attackers. In the past 5 years No More Ransom has helped millions of victims!
And the final sneak peak we'll give... Thijs Bosschert walks us through his cybersecurity escape rooms. His aim is to introduce people in a playful way to cybersecurity and to create an understanding of how easy it is to take advantage of mistakes.
