What do you do at Cybersprint? 
I am responsible for HR support for our local team in Netherlands, and that the integration with Darktrace goes smoothly.

What is your ambition in life/career?
To ensure that HR in the Netherlands is set up effectively and to facilitate integration with our global offices.

How did you get into cyber security?
I was working in IT before but Cybersprint is the first cyber security company I work for.

Don't be afraid to start from zero in a new field. Just start, work hard and learn.

What do you do at Cybersprint?
I am a Delivery Manager and Customer Success Manager at Cybersprint, doing my best to make sure customers/users get the most out of using the Cybersprint portal and keep them happy!

How did you get into cyber security?
I met a recruiter (working for Cybersprint) during a tennis tournament and we got into a conversation about Cybersprint (during the 3rd round). After almost 2,5 years at Cybersprint, I can definitely say it is a good match! 😊

Do you have tips for people looking to work in your position?
Even with no experience within cyber security whatsoever, I would still recommend everyone that is interested in joining the world of cyber security to follow their guts and make the jump! It definitely has been the best career decision that I have made so far

What do you do at Cybersprint?

As Digital Marketing Specialist, I am responsible for things such as Cybersprint’s digital channels and marketing automation.

How did you get into cyber security?

I actually started out as interior stylist. But I later discovered my passion for online marketing and communications, and started developing those skills further. With my personal interest in cyber security, I found the ultimate combination of working as digital marketing specialist at a cyber security company.

What is the best advice you’ve received?

Enjoy the little things in life.

Disinformation: a certainty in uncertain times

Since the beginning of the internet, we have seen a near, if not an exponential, surge of information sharing amongst users in cyberspace. Threat Report: Remote vulnerability in Confluence, fixes available

On 2 June, 2022 a critical vulnerability was identified in Atlassian Confluence (CVE-2022-26134). The vulnerability in question relates to active exploitation of unauthenticated remote code execution in Confluence Data Center and Server; meaning that the vulnerability could lead to code being executed remotely.

Looking back on the 2021 vulnerability: Log4shell

In December 2021 a critical vulnerability surfaced named Log4shell within Log4j, a widely used logging tool for java applications. Log4j is used globally by computers running online services, which meant it impacted a multitude of people, organisations, and government organisations. Since then, multiple fixes have been implemented in the hope to avoid such an outbreak in the future.
